Lenovo IdeaPad 5 -with AMD’s; latest Ryzen chipset

If you are searching for high end laptops from Lenovo, then the ThinkPad series is your best bet but for gamers, there is the Legion -series. However, Lenovo has received the Ideapad series of affordable but very decent laptops. Lenovo has now introduced a new budget- laptop dubbed Ideapad 5 and powered by AMD’s latest Ryzen processor.Lenovo ideapad 5

The IdeaPad 5 is being powered by AMD’s latest Ryzen-4000 Series chips and comes in at a price that does not break the bank. The new Ryzen processors should offer a nice powerful base of performance thanks to the enhancements -AMD made with this generation. On top of that, you can also snag up to 1TB of storage memory and up to 16GB of RAM.

The laptop sports a 15 inch IPS, anti glare display with FHD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The display has a brightness of 300- nits while there is a touchscreen version with 250 nits- brightness. You also get a webcam privacy- shutter, along with USB C connectivity, an optional fingerprint- sensor, and up to 15 hours of battery life with quick-charge.

The Windows 10 Home laptop- crams a battery that can atleast last up to 15 hours and supports Quick Charge capable of delivering a full-charge in 3 hours in 15 minutes.

The Lenovo Ideapad 5 is available in Platinum-Grey, Granite Grey, Light Teal colour options. The laptop is available to buy on Lenovo’s official website in the US & UK. It is cost at $690 for the model with 8GB-RAM (soldered) which can not be upgraded. In the UK, pricing begins at £405 and buyers get several-configuration options to choose from.
