Honor Play 4T Pro, Play 4T official renders appears ahead of April 9 launch

The Honor Play 4T will be made official on April 9. Ahead of the launch, some of the known retailer sties of China, such as JD, Suning and Tmall, have started with the reservations of the Play 4T. Interestingly, the reservation pages on JD reveals that the company will be not only launching the Play 4T and Play 4T Pro phones.

The images that have surfaced on reservations pages show that there are two kinds of Play 4T. One of them also has a waterdrop notch and an under-display fingerprint sensor. This handset could be the Honor Play 4T Pro. The handset can be seen in black, green and gradient white colours.

On the other side, there is a variant that features a punch-hole screen and a conventional fingerprint sensor on its rear. This device is likely to debut as Honor Play 4T. Apart from green, the handset could be available in other colour choices.

The image of the Honor Play 4T Pro resembles with the QAM-AL10 phone that was certified by TENAA telecom regulatory body of China in March. The TENAA listing revealed that it has a full HD+ 6.3-inch AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, Kirin 810 chipset, 6 GB / GB RAM, 128 GB / 256 GB storage, 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple cameras, 16-megapixel front camera and 4,000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support.

The Honor Play 4T seems to be the AKA-AL10 smartphone, which also received TENAA certification last month. It features a 6.39-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution support, 2.0GHz octa-core processor, 4 GB / 6 GB RAM, and 64 GB / 128 GB storage, 48-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera, 8-megapixel selfie snapper and 4,000mAh battery. The Android 10 OS is preinstalled on both phones. There is no word on their pricing.

German publication WinFuture has also shared multiple new high-resolution renders of the OnePlus 8 Pro. The renders further suggests that the phone will come in Onyx Black, Glacial Green, and Ultramarine Blue colour options. The design shown in these renders is pretty much identical to what has been leaked so far.

OnePlus 8 Pro is seen with the hole-punch display, carrying slim bezels on all sides, a quad-camera setup at the back with high three sensors positioned vertically – one below the other and one sensor sitting on the side, also in the same line as the flash. The volume rocker sits on the left, whereas the notification slider and power button are placed on the right side of the phone.

As for rumour, the report says that the OnePlus 8 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch QHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. The phone is already has confirmed to be powered Snapdragon 865. The RAM options also are said to 8GB and 12GB, while the onboard storage will be kept at 128GB and also 256GB with UFS 3.0 technology.

Quad-camera setup will reportedly include a 48-megapixel Sony IMX689 sensor with f/1.78 aperture, also 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor that has f/2.2 aperture and 120-degree field of view. There is also an 8-megapixel third sensor with f/2,.4 aperture and a 5-megapixel fourth sensor. The renders also suggest that the integration of laser autofocus and dual-LED flash on the OnePlus 8 Pro. The report as well indicates the presence of a 16-megapixel selfie shooter onboard.

OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus eight phones are set to launch on April 14. The company has teased the phones also to sport LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.0 storage will be accompanied by new software technology to provide even faster read and write speeds than the predecessor.
